Course terms and conditions
Acceptance of terms
1.1 By enrolling in the IT Security Locksmith Ltd (ITSL) Board Level Cybersecurity course or Board Level Digital Operational Resilience course, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not enrol in the course.
Registration and payment
1.2 To enrol in the course, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate, current, and complete information.
1.3 Payment for the course must be made in full before access is granted. We only accept payment through bank transfers.
Course access and materials
1.4 Upon successful registration and payment, you will receive a scheduled invite to attend the course.
1.5 Course materials are the intellectual property of IT Security Locksmith Ltd and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without explicit written permission.
1.6 IT Security Locksmith will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the course on the dates agreed but such dates may be subject to change.
1.7 IT Security Locksmith reserves the right to cancel the course without liability but will provide a full refund.
1.8 IT Security Locksmith Ltd guarantees to provide a refund to the cost of the course in the event of failure to deliver the course on the date agreed.
1.9 All information in the course is correct at the time of presentation only.
1.10 This course is not a replacement for cybersecurity expertise, vulnerability assessments or penetration testing.
Participant responsibilities
1.11. You agree to co-operate with the delivery of the course and IT Security Locksmith Ltd has the right to remove you from a course if you do not co-operate or disrupt the course for other attendees.
1.12 You agree not to use the course material and information for any unauthorized or illegal activities.
1.13 You agree that the course is held under the Chatham House Rule and are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
Cancellation and refund policy
1.14 Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the start of the course are eligible for a full refund.
1.15 No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the course.
Intellectual property
1.16 All intellectual property rights related to the course materials, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, are owned by IT Security Locksmith Ltd unless indicated in the materials.
1.17 You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, or in any way exploit any of the course materials.
Limitation of liability
1.18 The information in the course is provided 'as is' by IT Security Locksmith Ltd who shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly by its use save as may be required by law.
Governing law
1.19 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the England and Wales
Changes to terms and conditions
1.20 IT Security Locksmith Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
1.21 By enrolling in the IT Security Locksmith Cybersecurity course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Force majeure
1.22 IT Security Locksmith Ltd will have no liability under this agreement if it is prevented from delivering the course by acts, omissions, events or accidents beyond its reasonable control, including industrial disputes, failure of transport, utility service or telecommunications networks, act of god, war, riot, malicious damage, compliance with law enforcement order, accident, breakdown of equipment, fire, flood and environmental damage.
